Meeting in Progress

Take a look around your circle of closest friends- can you identify the keep-quieters or the blazing speakers? I find dog-people to be the more outgoing, loud and boisterous ones on the dog-personality scale.

I have a little bit foot-in-mouth-syndrome myself at times: every now and then i see the juiciest, brightest words splashing onto the person right in front of me a second too late before the trap could be shut. There is a juicy fruit-sweet advert on television which exactly captures how these exuberant words splishes and sploshes around the room like inside a ship going down. They’re laden with feels, boisterous, upwards, intoxicatingly flamboyant and theatrical! …and sometimes they’re sad, incredibly melancholic and hopelessly impractical.

…and then you encounter those beautiful breeds who has the precision of a blade in how they use their words and expressions. How they can effectively execute an entire government coop in their minds from start to finish without you knowing a single thing! They just KNOW. I’m amazed at what my more introverted friends just know without batting an eye. How to disarm a bomb: check. How to take over the world: check. All the internet’s knowledge: check. How to do taxes: check. While I’m sitting in the corner eating crayons.

And somehow, we end up together. Somehow there is a thin thin thread that ties the outwardly types to the inwardlies. Without the keepers of order, the world would look, feel and smell fantastically beautiful… for about two days.

And vice versa: no flamboyants… and all the peace and quiet of the world would break their souls.
